Whatever the charge you are facing, criminal allegations can have serious consequences for you. Many criminal offences carry a term of imprisonment and/or hefty fines. In addition, those accused of certain criminal offences may have their properties restrained (caveats) and if convicted, confiscated. Further, convictions for violent offences could see a person forced to pay criminal injury compensation.
We assist with issues of bankruptcy, customs, fraud, drug importation, matters investigated by the Australian Federal Police and investigations by ASIC.
You may find yourself in a situation where you do not wish to contest criminal charges and would rather plead guilty and move on with your life. A guilty plea will often result in a reduced sentence. However, there are matters that we can help you with in order to put your circumstances properly before the Court to assist with that reduction in sentence.
