Lucy Schapel was admitted to practice as a lawyer in early 2022 and began working in TGB’s personal injury team with partners Toni Emanuele and Barney Gask that same year.

Before commencing at Tindall Gask Bentley, Lucy worked as a legal assistant with another law firm where she developed her passion for personal injury law. During her studies, Lucy undertook internships with the Coroner’s Court of South Australia and with The Hon. Chief Justice Kourakis in the Supreme Court of South Australia, as well as doing work in the retail sector, giving her a broad range of experiences before commencing legal practice.

Lucy is especially driven by assisting others to achieve just and fair legal outcomes.

She works across a broad range of personal injury matters including workers compensation, public liability and motor vehicle accident claims. Lucy works between our Adelaide, Mount Barker and Reynella offices.

Lucy appears regularly in the South Australian Employment Tribunal and District and Magistrates Court of South Australia and is a confident advocate.

Placing a strong emphasis on clear communication between solicitor and client and the importance of forming trust-focused relationships, Lucy believes that being approachable and candid with clients can help establish personal relationships and build rapport.
