Barry Heffernan is on a mission. A mission to save lives.
Barry, a retired war veteran and doting grandfather, runs the William Kibby V.C. Veterans’ Shed, a place “for anyone who’s ever pulled on a uniform” where they can get help if they have suffered abuse while serving their country.
Barry and his band of brothers at the Shed say they have helped 400-500 Defence servicemen and women, many suicidal, all with their own horrific stories of abuse experienced while serving their country. Sadly, Barry suspects there are thousands more former and current Defence people still too afraid to come forward and seek help.
Tindall Gask Bentley Lawyers is honoured to support Barry. And you can too, by donating here.
