Tindall Gask Bentley’s female lawyers and their guests tapped into Jane Jeffreys wealth of business knowledge at the law firm’s Girlfriends in Law networking function on March 7, 2013.

Ms Jeffreys, an experienced local company director, runs her own successful management consultancy and is the acting Chief Executive of the South Australian Tourism Commission.

Her current board appointments include Chair of the Adelaide Convention Centre, South Australian Tourism Commission, Elderly Citizens Homes Inc., Gaming Care and Director of West Beach Trust and Kangaroo Island Futures Authority.

Ms Jeffreys offered ‘ten tips for climbing the corporate ladder in heels’, talking about challenges such as managing business and family life, office politics and the importance of giving back to the community.

“Jane is a fantastic business woman and our lawyers and their guests were inspired by her achievements and great advice,” TGB Partner Amber Sprague said.

The event, held at the top level of TGB’s Adelaide office, was also an opportunity for the lawyers and guests to network and continue to develop business relationships.

Girlfriends in Law is a networking event series run by TGB’s 25 female lawyers.
