ABC Radio: Will Defence force members and veterans finally get the mental health support they deserve?
TGB partner and defence force lawyer Tim White spoke with ABC Radio Adelaide’s Sonya Feldhoff following this week’s announcement of an independent commissioner into Defence member and veteran suicide.
Tim, who has been fighting for injured Defence force members and veterans for more than 20 years, discussed what the announcement means for grieving families and the impact it could have on the thousand of ex-servicemen and women who continue to battle PTSD and other significant mental illnesses after serving their country, as well as the state of play for injured veterans seeking support and compensation right now.
