TGB proudly supports our community
At TGB, we are active in our community. Our firm is involved in free legal services in Adelaide, we support many fantastic organisations and many of our lawyers serve in their private capacity, giving their time and knowledge to the causes they care about.
TGB Lawyers proudly supports:
South Australian Spinal Cord Injury Service (SASCIS) – TGB monthly casual days
“The South Australian Spinal Cord Injury Service staff and patients at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre really appreciate the support we receive from TGB. Proceeds of the TGB casual days have been put to a variety of uses. Most recently, we have been putting the funds raised towards weekend excursions for inpatients. This funding allows them to catch a taxi and go home for a day, out for a meal with family and friends or simply go shopping at Tea Tree Plaza or take in a movie.
Funds raised from previous casual days were used to update the kitchen in the Occupational Therapy Department. We are considering using some of the funds to purchase a much needed “spirometer” for use in the ward. This will allow accurate measurement of lung capacity and is particularly useful when someone has had a high spinal cord injury or has developed a chest infection. The Physiotherapy Department has one but this is not available after hours and on weekends and would really assist medical and nursing management of patients who are unwell.”
Spinal Unit Lunches
“Again the people from Tindall Gask Bentley have come on board to sponsor our lunches out at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre.
There have already been two lunches this year and they have been a lot of fun. Delicious food, the famous quiz and extremely funny jokes.
Every time there is a lunch, a couple of the lawyers come out and offer a helping hand, which is genuinely appreciated. We are very grateful for Tindall Gask Bentley’s support. The people who are going through the Spinal Unit, and their families and friends, really appreciate the lunches as it gives them all the opportunity to mingle and get to know other family members.”
