Matthew Donnellan is dedicated to supporting individuals navigate their legal issues while striving to build trusting relationships and offering genuine care and support.

While studying law at university, Matthew had the opportunity to work in a variety of legal clinics and criminal law firms, gaining invaluable experience.  His career with TGB Lawyers started in 2023 assisting the criminal and disciplinary team but his empathetic nature and desire to support individuals experiencing a relationship breakdown and all the issues that stem from that, led him to family law.

Prior to entering the legal profession Matthew worked for more than 10 years in a small family-owned retail business. During this time, Matt developed a deep appreciation of the value of hard work, commitment and dependability, and it equipped him with the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds – a trait much admired by his colleagues and his clients.

Matthew is committed to providing practical legal solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and empowering his clients with confidence and clarity, while striving to alleviate the stress and uncertainty that is often associated with family law matters.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing basketball with his social team, and loves engaging in freediving year-round!
