Joanne joined Tindall Gask Bentley Lawyers in 2021 to work with Richard Yates in the areas of criminal and disciplinary law, administrative law; providing representation in Courts and Commissions of inquiry and criminal injury compensation.

Before joining TGB, Joanne worked with a boutique firm in Perth, also practicing predominately in criminal law. This experience has afforded her a depth of understanding and insight into a vast range of criminal matters.

Joanne has a humanistic, straightforward and honest approach to the law which is appreciated by her clients as evidenced by the referrals she receives from both previous clients and other lawyers.

Joanne has valuable advocacy experience gained through working with, and being mentored by a number of respected barristers.

Joanne is passionate about criminal law and her background in psychology and criminology has enabled her to develop a holistic understanding of human behavior. This understanding, and her ability to apply that understanding to the law, enables Joanne to better advocate for clients, and help prepare them for the court process when required.
