Denise Abfalter began her career as a lawyer at TGB Lawyers practising in the areas of workers compensation, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD)/superannuation claims and victims of crime with Partner, Amber Sprague in 2022. She works out of our Adelaide and Port Lincoln offices.
Prior to being admitted, Denise completed her practical legal training placement and worked at the firm as a Personal Assistant and Clerk.
Denise regularly appears in the South Australian Employment Tribunal across a broad range of workers compensation matters on behalf of clients from both the private and public sector. She is a strong advocate for police and correctional officers, school principals, teachers as well as other public sector employees.
Effective communication and empathy is of the utmost importance to Denise. Understanding her clients’ legal needs and desired outcomes helps Denise to efficiently guide her clients through their legal journey and achieve the best outcome for them.
Denise is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and The Women Lawyers Association of South Australia Inc.
She is a keen netball player and when not practising law or engaging in competitive sport, she is an avid reader of books.
