For TGB Lawyers’ Alexandra Harris, communication is the key to building strong relationships with her clients and delivering the best possible outcome. She wants her clients to make informed decisions and feel as though they are in control of the process, taking the time to explain their matter to them and what their rights and entitlements are.
Alexandra’s background gives her a unique perspective and skills. She holds a teaching degree and was once a research assistant for the University of South Australia. Today she applies these critical research skills in the legal field, while her teaching ability means she can explain complex legal matters to clients simply, with patience and empathy.
She believes every client has individual needs, goals and expectations and that taking the time to work out what these are will deliver the best outcome. There is no uniform approach.
Alexandra specialises in helping her clients with a wide variety of personal injury claims, including Comcare claims.
As a personal injury lawyer, Alexandra understands that many people are overwhelmed dealing with the legal system. She gets immense satisfaction from helping these people by taking some of the stress out of the situation and offering reassurance.
Alexandra also has a keen interest in cyber security, and is a member of the Legal Technology Committee of the Law Society of South Australia (and their Accident Compensation Committee).
Working closely with TGB partner Tim White, Alexandra consistently shows tenacity and creativity, exploring all legal avenues for her clients while trying to come up with different ways to get results. She feels it is important to be open and honest with clients – and always contactable to answer any questions or concerns.
