TGB Sponsors Burns Trust Patient Transport Vehicle

TGB proudly sponsors the Julian Burton Burns Trust Patient Transport Vehicle. The car provides a much needed service for burns patients, the Patient Transport Vehicle at the Royal Adelaide Hospital transports patients, who are rendered unable to drive due to their injuries, to and from hospital for ongoing treatments.

Tindall Gask Bentley has provided funding to help cover the running costs of the vehicle, enabling this service to continue supporting outpatients of the RAH. Driven by the volunteer group Lavender Lads and Ladies, the service transports up to 800 patients a year and travels thousands of kilometres.

Burn survivors require ongoing outpatient treatment for dressing changes, scar management and physiotherapy and the patient vehicle provides a critical service in assisting them with their long-term rehabilitation and healing outcomes

This sponsorship is part of an ongoing relationship between TGB and the Julian Burton Burns Trust.
