Love is blind, prenuptial agreements are not

It’s the question that can divide dinner parties: Would you sign a prenuptial agreement?

“Prenups” or Binding Financial Agreements, as they are known in Australia,  have the potential to safeguard couples from a messy, drawn-out separation process if the relationship ends.

Of the 113,000-plus marriages registered in Australia, about 48,000 end in divorce, so it’s important all couples consider their financial position before entering into marriage.
