Update: Mammogram review in SA

Tindall Gask Bentley Lawyers has been contacted by 15 concerned women (to date) regarding potential legal action arising from the review of thousands of breast cancer scans in South Australia.

We continued to receive enquiries throughout the holiday period, and our investigations are continuing.

Many women had scans and were cleared of breast cancer, only to be subsequently diagnosed. In most cases those affected have needed chemotherapy and surgery.

These are tragic circumstances, and we encourage women to contact their doctor or other health providers as a priority.

You can also contact an information line on 8366 0266 between 8am and 7pm, or visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/breastscreenreview.

The Cancer Council SA hotline 13 22 00 has trained nurses offering advice.
