Simon joined Tindall Gask Bentley Lawyers’ Estate Planning and Personal Injury Team in 2026 as a Lawyer.  

Simon has worked in the personal injury environment since 1997 and as a lawyer since 2002. His interest in wills and estates goes back to 2013. 

Prior to commencing at TGB, Simon worked for Ford Motor Company in a financial and marketing role for 7 years all around Australia. He returned to Adelaide and took on a career change and entered the legal landscape working at Angela Bentley and Associates for 17 years working in personal injury litigation. On Angela Bentley’s retirement in 2013 Simon and his wife, Julia started Newman Lawyers in Norwood once again specialising in personal injury matters, but Simon also started writing wills and making probate grant applications. This area rapidly expanded and also included estate litigation. With Julia’s retirement in April 2026 Simon’s practice joined Tindall Gask Bentley. 

Simon is a very experienced practitioner, committed to clients and progressing their matters efficiently while ensuring clients feel informed and supported at every stage. Simon places strong importance on making his client’s experience with Tindall Gask Bentley as pleasant as possible, simplifying often complex legal problems and making certain that his clients get the best possible results. 

Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and walking his dogs.
