We Love Community Events!
Cultural festivals, a triathlon and a street fair - our lawyers have been busy taking part in a diverse range of community events across Adelaide in recent weeks.
Cultural festivals, a triathlon and a street fair – our lawyers have been busy taking part in a diverse range of community events across Adelaide in recent weeks.
On the weekend (Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1) Greek lawyers Dina Paspaliaris, Dimitra Bouras and Tina Bouras led a TGB team on both days at Glendi Greek Festival, Bonython Park. A number of our lawyers hold a strong connection with Adelaide’s Greek community and enjoyed the opportunity to talk with many of the attendees about the legal issues impacting their lives.
Our firm was also a sponsor of the Franklin Island Triathlon, held at Victor Harbor on Sunday (December 1). TGB Partner and fitness fanatic Tim White and son William completed the triathlon. Not only is it a great event for athletes and recreational fitness lovers, but proceeds also go to our great friends at Paraquad SA.
Sunday November 24 was Feast Picnic in the Park, where we have had a stall since 2009. The Feast Festival is a major arts festival for the lesbian and gay community in Adelaide, and the Picnic is a relaxing day enjoyed by thousands. TGB has helped many clients with same sex relationship and child custody legal issues, wills and estates and many other legal matters.
On the same day, another team from TGB set up at the Semaphore Street Fair, where more than 50,000 people attended. With TGB set to open a new office in the area in 2014, it was a terrific chance for our lawyers to meet local people and businesses and we look forward to building on these relationships in the months ahead.
As a firm that prides itself on diversity and the broad cultural backgrounds of its staff, we look forward to supporting our local community at the next event!
